Frankie Harrison

A resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home. She was 88, born in California, and grew up in Decatur, Illinois. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, January 4, 2013, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Rusty Reed, Rev. James Drickamer, Rev. Billy Como, and Rev. Phillip Guay. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by two daughters and sonsinlaw, Dixie Lee and Daniel Douthitt, and Linda Joyce and James Drickamer two sons and daughtersinlaw, Roger Lynn and Mary Harrison, and Gary Wayne and Tina Harrison sister, Virginia Daniels 10 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren, and eight greatgreatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Estell Harrison two sisters, Rose Long and Joy Portwood brother, Bill Hutchison and her parents, Frank and Chloe Hutchison. Pallbearers will be Roger and Gary Harrison, Joey Davis, Adam Haney, Dan Douthitt, and Warren Goodrich. Frankie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She loved gardening and crocheting. In her younger days, she sang, and played piano and guitar.
