Frank Gunter

A carpenter and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11:16pm at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, when he lost his battle with cancer. He was 52 and a native of Alexandria. He was raised and schooled in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was a soldier with the Salvation Army. He was a gentle, loving, and giving man. Memorial services will be at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11am, conducted by Major Stephen Long. Survived by his mother, Gloria Miller father, Willard J. Gunter five sisters, Sherrie Gunter, Bridgett Ducote, Kim Gunter, Raven Gunter, and Frankie Renee Gunter and three brothers, Willard P. Gunter, Bubba J. Gunter, and Stanley Wayne Gunter. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Gunter and his stepfather, Arthur Miller.
