Frances "Bunkie" Roeder McCulloch, 92 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Baker, LA. She entered this world on August 24, 1931, born to Mathilde and John Roeder, in Shreveport, LA.
Bunkie is survived by her loving three daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Dave Almond, of Slaughter, Janet Holley, of Prattville, Ala., and Sheila and Clay Fletcher, of Slaughter; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Wanda McCulloch, of Ethel, LA; seven grandchildren, Von Paige and wife Richelle, Lauren Paige and fiancé' Duane Scott, Jaime Berthelot and husband Steve, Matt McCulloch and wife Sagan, Peyton McCulloch and fiancé' Olivia Jenkins, Leslie Dedon and husband Gerald, and Alex Holley; and 10 great-grandchildren, Hudson Paige, Jacob Rabalais, Tré Berthelot, Brock Berthelot, Gabriel Lamperez, Isabella Lamperez, Jacob Dedon, Avery Dedon, Mia McCulloch, and Maddox McCulloch; and two great great-grandchildren, Brady Berthelot, and Levi Rabalais.
Bunkie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Amos James McCulloch; father, John Julian Roeder; mother, Mathilde Alexander Roeder; son-in-law, Stan Holley; and granddaughter, Lacey Fletcher.
Private services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A private burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana on a later date.
