John 14:14 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God believe also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.

On Friday, August 8, 2014, God received another precious angel, which was our devastating loss. Anna Clark Freeman, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister quietly ended a long battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born on December 6, 1936, and was 77 years old. Her life was a precious gift to all who knew her. She loved life, helping others, gardening, sewing but most of all she loved her family, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Bill Freeman her parents, Odis and Lucy Whittington Clark and a brother and his wife, Bill and Daphane Clark.

She is survived by sisters Mildred Jenkins and Janie Hodges Brother A.J. Clark and wife Cookie BrotherinLaw, Eddie Freeman and wife Merle. She also leaves behind two daughters Ellen Nola and husband, Glynn and Donna Bowman and husband, Bruce grandchildren Jordan Nola Robinson and husband Philip, Trent Nola, Laura Bowman Melancon and husband, Kole, and Ryan Bowman. Great grandchildren are Payton and Bailey Robinson, and Emmy Melancon. Nieces and nephews include Sonja Jenkins, Tanya Mallory, Lucy Sanguinetti, Robin Buchanan, Paul Clark and Tony Clark. Pallbearers are Trent Nola, Ryan Bowman, Philip Robinson, Kole Melancon, Allen Avants, and Nick Perry. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Tucker, Jim Perry and Terry Coye.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to join the family for the visitation from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014. The visitation will continue Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mike Morris will officiate the services and the interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to say a special thanks to the PCAs at Amber Terrace Memory Lane Unit who showed her so much care and love. Special thanks also go to Megan Poche who unselfishly gave her time to care for Ms. Anna. There are no words to describe the appreciation that the family feels toward Kim Coye, the person who gave their mother such a quality of life through her dedication, commitment and love throughout Ms. Annas long battle with her illness.
