Evelyn Michot

A homemaker and a resident of Slaughter, she passed away Monday January 17, 2011 at 10am at Our Lady of The Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 74 and a native of Cottonport. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, Wednesday January 19, 2011 from 59pm, and on Thursday January 20, 2011 from from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Deacon Shelley Joseph. Interment to follow in Port Hudson National Cemetery. She is survived by seven daughters and two sonsinlaw, Karla Michot Grim and husband Bryan W. Grim Sr., Janice Michot, Sandy Michot Pace, Mona Michot, Terrie Michot Tarver and husband Robert Louis Tarver, Lisa Michot Landry and Barbara Michot a son, Wayne Michot a sister, Faye Novo a brother, Henry Novo and wife June numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and two longtime family friends, Mary Lou Eckert and William V. Bean. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wyman Joseph Michot her parents, Henry E. and Evy Leen Novo a daughter, Dana Marie Michot three sisters, Helene Novo, Bertha St. Romain and Alla Mae Gremillion and a soninlaw Charlie Joe Richard Pace. Pallbearers will be Mark Michot, Kenneth Ray Paola, Joshua Tarver, Bryan W. Grim Jr. and Devin Michot, Andre Michot, Tony Michelli and Travis Solar.
