Pourciau, Eva Mae Latham

Born June 12, 1933 in New Roads, La., she was 84, a Lifelong resident of Morganza, La., passed away on Sunday, March 18 at home, surrounded by her family. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, "Court Isabella," St. Ann's Altar Society, Good Neighbors and one of the original members of St. Mary's Catholic Church of False River Adoration Chapel. She also belonged to the Morganza Ladies Prayer Group, who met weekly at her home. She was employed by South Central Bell, Lieux Chevrolet and retired from Cole's Florist.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Stella Latham, former husband and father of her six children, Charles B. "Benny Boy" Pourciau and her beloved grandson Daniel Lee "Tator" Ewing, Jr.
She is survived by her six children, Jeralyn "Gee" Ewing and husband Dan, Joni Russo and her husband Vincent, Lori Pourciau, Charles B. "Brother" Pourciau and his wife Brenda, John R. "Sassy" Pourciau and Dana Jarreau and her husband David "Dukie." Sister Mary Louise Picard and Brother, John Rodney Latham and wife Barbara. And her beloved dog, "Trixie."
Blessed with eight grandchildren, Danielle Ewing, Mary Stella Russo Miller, Michael and Corey Pourciau, Fallon Pourciau Ducote, Amanda Pourciau Landry, Tori and Tyler Jarreau, and great grandchildren, Kalyee Grace Ewing, Parker and Hayes Miller, Taylor, Addyson, Olivia and Caden Pourciau, Karson Ducote and Beau Landry, Jr.
Visitation at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Morganza on Tuesday, March 20, from 9am to 11am. Mass and Christian Burial at 11am officiated by Fr. Brent Maher with entombment in St. Ann's Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Michael and Corey Pourciau, Tyler and Dukie Jarreau, Rene Thibodeaux, Andrew Mooney Jay Latham, Randy Gremillion and Vincent Russo.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Clarence Thibodeaux, Elie James Part and Billy Guidry.
