Eunice Gill

Eunice Winsett Abbott Gill, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Eunice was a CNA with Lane Regional Medical Center and a Pink Lady for numerous years, as well as a sitter.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Carls (husband Kevin); son, Ray Abbott (wife Nelda); 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Myrtle Colburn and Ruth Lee; 3 step-children, Roy Gill, Doyle Gill, and Larry Gill; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Olan Abbott; second husband, Milton Gill; parents, Mark and Dellar Winsett; 6 siblings, Lura Nichols, Freeman Winsett, Raymond Winsett, Orville Winsett, Hyce Gene Winsett, and Arnie Winsett; and step-child, Ralph Gill.

Family request visiting hours to be observed on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6-9pm at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, LA 70714. Visiting hours will resume on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 9-11am, where a Funeral Service will be held in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel at 11am. The services will be conducted by Rev Jim Carlisle and Rev Dale Richter.

Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
