Esther Rabalais

A resident of Baker, and a retired child care provider, she died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at her residence. She was 67 and a native of Cottonport. Visiting at the Prayer Chapel at Bethany World Prayer Center, 13855 Plank Road, Baker, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 11am until religious services at 1pm, conducted by Rev. Paul Brill. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Survived by two daughters and sonsinlaw, Dawn Jolibois and David Landry of Zachary, and Vicki and Todd Abington of Central a sister, Frankie Mayeux of DuPont a brother, Darryl Rabalais of Greensburg and a granddaughter, Lauren Abington of Central. She was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Jolibois Jr grandson, Phillip Abington and her parents, Ruby and Frank Rabalais. Pallbearers will be Todd Abington, David Landry, Lloyd Jolibois Sr, Bobby Coons, Jeff Vining, and Perry Walton. Esther enjoyed reading, flower arranging, and taking care of her grandchildren.
