Emma Jean "Granny” Seward Campbell, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was 91, a residence of Central and a native of Senath, Mo. She was a retired accountant and an election poll worker for many years. She loved sewing, crafts, puzzles, canning, and making candy. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and LSU Baseball.
Emma is survived by her three daughters and a son-in law, Jackie and Steve Ryan, Beverly Campbell, and Norma Nesom; four sons and three daughters-in laws, Rickey Campbell, Johnny and Cindy Campbell, Gary and Greta Campbell, and Tony and Stephanie Campbell; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Faye Seward; grandchildren, Joey Campbell and Esdras Martinez, Cory Campbell, Casie and Richard Sullivan, Jason and Kim Ryan, Jill and Wes Penn, Amber and Akheil Shah, Catherine Campbell and Jeremy Campbell, Travis and Tonya LeBlanc, Cortnie Foster, and T.J. Campbell; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and extended family.
Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Campbell, daughter, Diana Campbell, granddaughter, Dawn Arndt; grandson, Carl Gremillion; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Sullivan; and daughter in law, Margie Campbell.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her personal caregivers and the staff of Cardinal Hospice.
A private visitation will be at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd in Baker. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jimmy Babin. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
