Eileen Faye Chambers Durham
Eileen Faye Chambers Durham beloved Wife, Mother and Nana was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 23, 2022. She entered this world on June 2, 1950 to Edward T. and Amanda Jane Chambers in Houston, Texas. She loved her family, her church family, embroidery, and crafting but nothing made her more proud than her grandchildren. Eileen lived a life dedicated to serving others which included a long nursing career. She retired from Our Lady of the Lake, RMC in 2018 where she worked as an LPN.
Eileen is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Craig Durham, Sr. She is also survived by her three children, son Craig G. Durham, Jr.; daughter Amanda Bertoniere and her husband Bill Bertoniere; and daughter Ann D. Linton and her husband Adam Linton; grandchildren Christopher Linton, Jonathan Linton, Nicholas Linton, Brianna Bright and Justin Bertoniere. She is also survived by three siblings; sister Linda Jones and husband Tommy; brother Edward Chambers and wife Jan; and brother Ronnie Chambers and wife Joyce. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and several special friends that she considered family.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents.
Honorary pallbearers: Bill Bertoniere, Justin Bertoniere, Brianna Bright, Adam Linton, Christopher Linton, Jonathan Linton and Nicholas Linton.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Gary Richardson.
