Edward Kopp

A former longtime Baker resident, and a native of Hackensack, New Jersey, he passed away at 8:57am Thursday, December 06, 2012 at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 86, a US Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II, and retired from Gulf States Utilities with 37 years of service. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 57pm, and on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Rev. Chris Kopp. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by wife, Lois E. Kopp daughter and soninlaw, Laura and John Stafford two sons and daughtersinlaw, Michael and Barbara Kopp, and Thomas and Lisa Kopp a brother, Bill Kopp 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Kopp and his mother, Eleanor Case Kopp. Pallbearers will be Greg Kopp, Jason Kopp, Robert Kopp, Tommy Kopp, Justin Stafford, and Thomas Kopp. Edward was a member of Christian Life Church.
