Earline Bankston Hubbs, 92, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on November 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 5, 1925 born to George and Goldie Bankston in Natalbany, LA. She was a member of Bluff Creek Baptist Church. Her heart was filled with love and she shared it with everyone she met. She was well known for her sweet soul and being a prayer warrior.
Earline is survived by her daughters, Sandra Pierce and husband Keith, Brenda Bollow and husband Uwe; and Lillie Strahan and husband Mike; a sister, Thelma Strickland; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Earline is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Berlin Hubbs.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Jay Avance and Reverend Cole Permenter.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care she received at The Care Center during her time there and to the nursing home ministry of Florida Blvd Baptist Church for making it possible for her to attend church services.
