Earlene Clark

Earlene Alice Vaughn Clark, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 14, 2017. Earlene was born to Jack Penn and Lillie Mae Vaughn on November 13, 1929 in Shuqualak, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She loved going to church and was very active in ministry, particularly the deaf ministry and in the Bible ministry to Russia, "Come and See, Go and Tell".

Earlene is survived by her daughters, Linda Clark Boehm (Jimmy) of Rosharon, TX, Marcia Clark Wall (Keith) of Jennings, LA; sons, Chadwick Clark of Zachary, LA, Roger Clark (Therese) of Clinton, LA, Kenneth Clark (Nancy) of Central, LA, Brian Clark (Laura) of Baton Rouge, LA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Vaughn, Otis Vaughn, and Curtis Vaughn; numerous nieces and nephews.

Earlene is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Buford Clark, parents, Jack Penn and Lillie Mae Vaughn; brothers, Dennis Vaughn and Lee Vaughn.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Arnold Austin. The graveside service and burial will follow at Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2308 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Tremont, Mississippi on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
