Dudley Joseph Delahoussaye, 88 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on November 14, 1935, born to Alexis and Nathalie Delahoussaye, in St. Martinville, LA. Dudley retired after many years of service from Baton Rouge Coca Cola Company. He was a faithful member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
Dudley is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Melany and Mark Roberts; son and daughter in-law, Perry J. and Jann Delahoussaye; grandchildren, Patrick Roberts and wife Anna, Michael Roberts and wife Carley, Leslie Delahoussaye and fiancé Tye Credeur, Andrew Roberts and wife Julie, and Rachel Roberts and fiancé Jay Cale; great-grandchildren, Trey and Tyler Long, Charlie Stott, Wyatt and Cecilia Roberts, Harrison Roberts and Amelia Abshire; brother; Dutel Delahoussaye; and numerous nieces and nephews .
Dudley was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Hotard Delahoussaye; parents, Alexis and Nathalie Landry Delahoussaye; 2 brothers, 6 sisters; and grandchild, Erin Delahoussaye Stott.
Pallbearers will be Patrick, Michael and Andrew Roberts, Charles Stott, Jay Cale, and Tye Credeur.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Suzie with The Hospice of Baton Rouge for the wonderful and faithful care she took of Mr. Dudley.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, officiated by Fr. Frank Bass and Fr. Lamar Partin. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, LA.
