Dorothy Guy

A resident of Slaughter, Dot passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 80 and native of Morganza. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 59pm, and on Friday, Feb. 7, from 10am until religious services in the chapel at noon, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker and Rev. Dewitt Joey Guy. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Cheryl Ann and Raymond Riles three sons and two daughtersinlaw, Dewitt Joey Guy, Dennis and Cynthia Guy, and Michael and Alecia Guy three sisters, Irene Taylor, Brenda Baker, and Glenda Baker and husband Jimmy four brothers, Rouney Sonny Plaisance, Clyde Plaisance and wife Sarah, Sammy Plaisance and wife Gayle, and Chris Plaisance 22 grandchildren, and numerous great and greatgreatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Dewitt David Guy, Sr. Dot attended First Baptist Church of Slaughter. She loved fishing and spending time with her family, and had a passion for helping others.
