A retired accountant with Kaiser Aluminum of Gramercy, a current accountant with Louisiana Office Products of Harahan, and a resident of Avondale, he passed away Friday April 22, 2011 at 1:45 pm at Canon Hospice of Jefferson, La. He was 67, a native of Livonia, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home from 10am to religious services in the chapel at noon on Tuesday April 26, 2011, conducted by Deacon Willie Berthelot. Interment to follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery. He is survived by two sisters, Betty and her husband Ronny Lopez of Denham Springs, and Brenda and her husband James Noble of Baker a brother, Chris Sellars of Baton Rouge a very special friend, Chasity Landry, who was like a daughter to him a special Aunt, Gloria Sellars and special friends, Bob and wife Diane Landry, Chella Landry, Nikki Hall and Mary Landry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob J.C. and Nola Sellars, and a brother, James Raby Sellars. Pallbearers will be Chris, David and Steven Sellars, Brian Noble, Randy LeJeune and Robert Landry. He was a 1961 graduate of Baker High School.
