Don Haney

A resident of Baker, and a native of Ferriday, he passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Gonzales. He was 66 and a retired construction estimator. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 911am. Graveside services at 11am Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Dick Metz. Survived by a son and daughterinlaw, Donnie and Maura Crittenden of Bloomington, Illinois a daughter and soninlaw, Tina Marie and Jeff Holland of Overton, TX four step daughters, Terry and husband Dana Boyd, Karen Olivier, Renee and husband Timmy Walters, and Rhonda and husband Jeff Jones two grandchildren, Dane Crittenden and Jessica Burns two nephews, Stanley Andrew Ponson, II and wife Donna, and Ricky Lynn Ponson step grandchildren, Devin Boyd, Law Olivier and wife Traci, Caress Olivier Tureau and husband Nick, Cyndey and Harlee Walters, and Jeffrey, John, and Dakota Jones step great grandchildren, Caymen and Cruz Tureau and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ponson, and his mother, Elsie Louise Ponson. Don enjoyed painting, and playing his guitar and singing.
