Dewey Raborn

Dewey James Raborn, 74 years old and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was born to Myrtle McCulloch Raborn and Dewey Raborn on January 21, 1946 in Baton Rouge, LA. He honorably served his country in the United States Airforce and the United States Army Reserves.

Dewey is survived by his daughter, Roxana Marie Raborn; five sons, Mike Douglas Nolan, Mark John Raborn, Timothy Wayne Raborn and wife, Angel, Charles DuWayne Raborn and fiance, Rhonda Kimball, and James Dewey Raborn and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Chad Nolan, Kayla Nolan, Walker Raborn, Hollie Raborn, Emily Raborn, Jessica Raborn, Sarah Raborn, Yasmin Lundy, Braiden Raborn, Silas Raborn; sisters, Connie Harivson, and Pamela McCullough; and beloved pets, Coco and Kabuto.

Dewey is preceded in death by his wife, Eiko Yarita Raborn; parents, Dewey and Myrtle Raborn; and brother, Donald Raborn.

The family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital for taking care of our dad during his stay.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the funeral Service at 12:00 PM conducted by Brother Huey Moak. The graveside service and burial with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, in Baker, Louisiana.
