Deborah Gomez

Deborah Ann Hayes Gomez, 65 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away at MD Anderson Hospital on August 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on March 11, 1956, born to Elizabeth Jane Hayes and Thomas Hayes, Sr., in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Slaughter branch.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Terry John Gomez; sons, Aaron J. Gomez (Alysa), David B. Gomez (Jessica Holman), Daniel T. Gomez (Nikki), and Zachary J. Gomez (Kelsi); 10 grandchildren; brother, Thomas W. Hayes, Jr. (Debra); sister, Susan H. Cowart (Kenneth); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Deborah is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hayes, Sr., and mother, Elizabeth Jane Hayes.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, September 03, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
