Daniel Smith

Daniel Lynn Smith Jr, 53 years old, passed away on September 21, 2022. He entered this world on February 20, 1969, born to Catherine Locke and Daniel Smith, Sr., in Baton Rouge, LA. He loved driving tow trucks and spent many miles on the road traveling.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Devin Smith and wife Glenda, Derek Smith and wife Brittany, and Dylan Smith and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Eric Smith, Derek Bentley, Sophia Smith, Bowen Smith, and Slade Smith; father, Daniel Smith, Sr. and wife Karen; siblings, Dwayne Smith and wife Kelly, Samantha Reynolds and husband Neal, Stephanie Oakes and husband Chris, and Madison Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Locke; grandparents, Jewel Smith and Betty Joyce Smith; and nephew, Gabriel Smith Oaks.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
