Dana Canady

A resident of Baker and a native of Baton Rouge, she passed away at 5:05am on Monday, August 22, 2011 at her home. She was 59, and a former bookkeeper at St. Francisville Country Manor Nursing Home. Memorial services will be at 10am Friday, August 26, 2011, at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, conducted by Brother Elmo Winters and Pastor Steve Adcock. Inurnment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by a son, Lance Hunt and wife, Regenia of Tarzan, TX sister, Teri Boudreaux and husband Austin of Baton Rouge two brothers, Glen Clouatre and wife Hayley of Brusly, and Keith Clouatre and wife Glenda of Hattiesburg, MS sisterinlaw, Pat Clouatre of Beckley, WV three grandchildren, Andrew Hunt and wife Ciera, Chelsey Hunt, and Faith Hunt one great grandchild, Aubree Hunt and her beloved dog, Jonah. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael Canady brother, Brett Clouatre and parents, Claude and Jean Felder Clouatre. Dana was a member of River of Life Fellowship, and enjoyed reading, gardening, and going to church. Special thanks to the loving friends and caregivers: Mary Dunaway, Barbara Parker, Danell Mire, Tessie Janick, and the staff of Generations Hospice.
