Curtis Hutchinson

CURTIS ARTHUR HUTCHINSON

A retired lab technician with Entergy, and a native of New Orleans, he passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 at his home. He was 75 and a resident of Central. Visiting at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6380 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70811, on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, celebrated by the Rev. George Lundi. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:15am. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum in Baker. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ellen Lemoine Hutchinson three sons, Jeffery Hutchinson and his longtime companion, Aurora Surla Mark Hutchinson and his wife Kerrie, all of Metairie, and Shane Hutchinson of Baton Rouge and three grandchildren, Christian, Morgan Luke Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Hutchinson Alice LaBarthe Hutchinson. Pallbearers will be Jeffery, Mark Shane Hutchinson, Casey Bruce Rabalais, and Howard Lemoine Jr. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Kenner, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that masses be offered in his memory, or donations to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
