A native of Alcorn County, Mississippi, and a resident of Baton Rouge, he joined his wife in Heaven on Friday, March 16, 2012 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 85, a retired salesman with Eastman Kodak, and a US Army veteran of WWII. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 59pm, and on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Revs. Alvin and Darwin Hall. Interment to follow in Beutoville Cemetery, Ethel. Survived by two daughters, Janet and Cynthia Mullens a son, Bruce Moon Mullens and wife Nona two sisters, Peggy Mullens Guillory Knapp and Carolyn Mullens a brother, Harold Mullens and wife Marion six grandchildren and spouses, Kim and Paul Quinn, Brandi and Chad Riles Sr, Jason Snoddy, Lindsey and Tony Impastato, Joel Snoddy, and Michael Snoddy and six greatgrandchildren, Chad Jr, Katelyn, and Cameron Riles, Aubry Phillips, and Phoebe and Riley Quinn. Preceded in death wife, Rosa P. Mullens daughter, Gloria Diane Mullens grandson, Brian Matthew Snoddy two sisters, Gurthel Mullens Martin and Grapel Mullens Rainey two brothers, Kenneth Mullins and L.D. Mullens and his parents, Ruben and Maggie Nabors Mullens. Pallbearers are Phil Mullens, Jason, Joel, and Michael Snoddy, Kim Quinn, Chad Riles Sr, Chad Riles Jr, and Cameron Riles. Clydes passion was his grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and playing pool. He was a longtime member of the APA. Special thanks to the staff of The Carpenter House for such excellent care.
