Clara Bennett

A resident of Clinton, she died on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 71 and a native of Mt. Hermon. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 48pm, and on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Billy Carpenter. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by husband, Louie G. Bennett Sr. of Clinton a sister, Betty Crosby of Wakefield and five brothers, Farrell Holliday of Stoney Point, Randel Holliday Sr. of Jackson, Bruce Wayne Holliday of Clinton, Daniel Holliday of Franklinton, and Leroy Holliday Sr. of Tullos. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Louie G. Bennett Jr three brothers, Roy C. Holliday, R.C. Holliday, and Ralph C. Holliday a sister, Elizabeth McMillan and her parents, Curtis and Blanche Holliday. Pallbearers will be Randel Holliday Jr, Leroy Holliday Jr, Wayne Holliday, Tyler Wayne Holliday, Jacques Mulkey, Wayne Wilkins, Dale Wilkins, and Clint Marcello. Clara loved flower gardening, and was especially fond of Easter Lilies.
