Christopher Dufour

Christopher Mikell Dufour, 36 years old, beloved son and brother, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 11, 2018. Christopher entered this world on May 5, 1982, born to Serita Dugan and Mikell Dufour, in Zachary, LA. He enjoyed reading, LSU Women's Basketball and playing tennis.

Christopher is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Serita Dugan and Rita Dufour; 2 sisters, Becky Fritter and Crystal Spurlock and husband, Jerry; 2 brothers, Casey Dufour and wife, Nikki and Joey Richard and wife, Leslie; grandparents, Mill Lester, Bill Lester, and Dolores Reed; nieces, Kari, Karlie, Jolie', Olivia, and Reagan; and nephews, Kaden, Braiden, Josh and Christiane.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Mikell J. Dufour; grandmother, Maria McManus; grandfather, Willie Dufour; and best-friend, Chelsea Thurmond.


Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, September 17, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
