Charline Templeton

A loving wife and mother and a resident of Baker, she passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 11:30pm at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 85, born on March 31, 1926 in Pine Grove, LA, and a retired finance director with the City of Baker. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Survived by a daughter, Jackie Jenkins of Denham Springs a son and daughterinlaw, Charles and Gail Templeton of Baton Rouge a sister and brotherinlaw, Dot and Harvey Lockwood of Slaughter a brother and sisterinlaw, Kenneth and Alice Robinson of Zachary four grandsons, Keith and Bill Jenkins, and David and Mike Templeton and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren B. Templeton grandson, Patrick Lynn Templeton a brother, James M. Robinson a sister, Nell Green and her parents, Alma and Charlie Robinson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker.
