A resident of Baker, and a native of Sebastopol, MS, Jack passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00pm at Louisiana War Veterans Home. He was 86, and a retired construction worker. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, April 9, from 58pm, and on Thursday, April 10, from 5pm until religious services in the chapel at 7pm. Interment will be private at a later date. Jack requested that everybody dress casual. Survived by wife, Bobbie Walton Johnson three sons, Rocky, Jacky, and Keith Johnson two daughtersinlaw, Betty May Johnson and Tammy Mixon Johnson seven grandchildren, Jason Michael, Jake Benjamin, Jason Adams, Justyn Wayne, Samantha, Savannah, and Shayna Johnson and 16 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven siblings, his parents, and a great grandson. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the NRA, and Jeb Stuart VFW Post 4224, and Carpenters Local 1098. He will be missed by his loyal fourlegged friend, Boudreaux. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeb Stuart VFW Post 4424, 2146 Toledo St., Baker, LA 70714.
