Charlene Peairs

A resident of Zachary, she passed away at her home on Sunday, July 07, 2013. She was 81, and a native of Pride. Visiting at Deerford Methodist Church, 10393 Greenwell SpringsPort Hudson Road, Zachary, on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 610pm, and on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8am until religious services at 10am, conducted by Rev. Lewis Morris. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by husband of 60 years, Stephen P. Peairs, Jr. of Zachary daughter and soninlaw, Michelle Peairs Hebert and Allen Hebert of White Castle three sons and two daughtersinlaw, Roger V. and Sandy Peairs of Central, Ricky P. and Lisa Peairs of Ethel, and Rodney D. Peairs of Zachary six grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Christina, Hollie, and Ryan Peairs, and Travis Hebert and three greatgrandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Isabella Peairs. Preceded in death by son, Stephen R. Peairs ten brothers and sisters, and her parents, Louie and Belle Kelley. Pallbearers are Brandon and Tyler Peairs, Travis Hebert, Jim Sibley, Gary Atkinson, and Todd Termini. Honorary pallbearers are Wilton Lipscomb, Harold Kirby, and Joe Treloar.
