SULLIVAN, Catherine Caddy Woodward
Caddy passed away peacefully at 3:05pm on Monday, July 7, 2014, at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 89, born September 22, 1924 in West Bridgewater, MA, and a resident of Baker, LA.
Prior to her marriage to Melvin L. Red Sullivan, she was a professional model. She was retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, and was a past member of The Catholic Daughters at St. Isidore Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, July 9, from 59pm. Visitation will be at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, on Thursday, July 10, from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by Deacon Tommy Benoit. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
Caddy is survived by her seven children and spouses, Kathleen Kitty Sullivan, Melvin Buster and Jane Russell Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and wife Clydette Hans, Patrick and Melanie Babin Sullivan, Timothy and Suzanne Sullivan, Erin S. Doiron, and Benjamin and Christine Eppinett Sullivan six grandchildren, Tobie Sullivan, Kevin Albarez, Clint and Melissa Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Matthew Sullivan, Megan and Cody Carter, and Daniel Sullivan two greatgrandchildren Briley and Easton Sullivan and a sister, Florence Sissy Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Red Sullivan, Sr. a soninlaw, Truman Doiron parents, Henry Eunice Bland Woodward and two brothers, Henry Woodward, Jr. and Robert Woodward.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
