Caroline Dunn

A resident of Baker, and native of Superior, Wisconsin, she passed away at her home on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was 73, and a retired nurse with over 30 years of service at Lane Regional Medical Center. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Brother Bill Compton. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband of 54 years, Thomas Dunn of Baker 2 daughters, Coral Ann Dunn of Baker, and Tammy Denise Dunn of Irvine, CA two sons and a daughterinlaw, Jeffrey Thomas Cynthia Dunn of Valdosa, GA, and Timothy James Dunn of Walker sister and brotherinlaw, Barbara and Richard Wallis of Monterrey, CA brother and sisterinlaw, Donald E. and Carolyn Johnson of Placentia, CA three grandchildren, Jayne Nicole Dunn, Andrew Thomas Dunn, and Heather Marie Dunn and two great grandchildren, Destiny Marie Dunne and Robert Thomas Dunn. Preceded in death by grandson, Steven Robert Dunne granddaughter, Jessica Dunn three brothers, Charles, Lowell, and Jack Johnson a sister, Joan Ruzith and her parents, Pearl Borreson Oscar A. Johnson. Caroline was a member of Baton Rouge Gem Society, and loved bingo and her bingo family. She was the first one in her entire family to graduate from college, having completed nursing school at the age of 49.
