Byford Leroy Beasley, 73, and a longtime resident of Baker, went to his eternal home on June 23, 2017. He was born on March 4, 1944 to James R. Beasley and Charlotte Nicholson. He was a master carpenter and attorney.
Byford is survived by his parents, James R. Beasley and Charlotte Nicholson; 2 daughters, Page Beasley Brown and husband Randy, Chandra Beasley Martin; 4 grandchildren, Jessica and her fiancé Gary, Tyler, Jacob, and Cameron; 1 great-grandchild, Kylie; brothers, Jim and Ronnie Beasley, Troy, Claude, and Tony Nicholson; sister, Colleen "Sissy" Koonce; previous wife, Sandy Quirk Beasley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Byford is preceded in death by his step-mother, Juanita Beasley; grandchild, Theresa Brown; brother, Elvis Nicholson; and sister, Sharon "2K" Blake.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until the service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Howard Turner. The graveside service and burial will follow on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez, Mississippi.
