A native and resident of Baker, he died Monday, November 21, 2011 after a long and hard battle with diabetes. He was 33, and the only son of Debra L. Broadhurst of Baker. He worked at South Campus at LSU in Electronic Arts. He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Keen Broadhurst mother, Debra Broadhurst father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. William Broadhurst grandmothers, Maxine F. Kinchen and Joella Broadhurst half sisters, Lauren and Camille Broadhurst stepbrother, Ben Fisher aunts and uncles, Lorie and Mark Verbois, Leo and Bonnie Lambert, Leanne and Doran Baxter, and Brenda and Jean Toups and cousins, Pam Franklin, Trey Jackson, and Natalie Verbois. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Pete Kinchen and Noah Broadhurst. Brad will be honored with a memorial service on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Central, 9676 Sullivan Road in Central. We will continue to celebrate Brads life with a second memorial service on Sunday. Visiting will be at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 1pm until memorial service at 2pm. Brad was an avid LSU sports fan, and he loved computer games. He attended Remington College, where he earned his Associates Degree in Computer Networking Administration. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
