Bobbie Scott

Bobbie Caston Scott, 88 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 18, 2023., surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on June 21, 1934, born to Alma Olivia Marson Caston and Raiford Lucian Caston, in Baton Rouge, LA. She loved bowling and playing cards. She retired from the State of Louisiana after working as a Payroll Accountant.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Pat Scott and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Carolyn Schexnayder and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Christi, Nicole, Patti, Kyle, and Bobbie Jo; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott; grandson, Sean Scott; great grandson, Taith Cobb-McVickers; her parents; and 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Blanchard, Randie Blanchard, Christopher Thurmon, Trent Blair, Brodie Thurmon, Kyle Scott, and Brice Hamilton.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Christopher Thurmon. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
