A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, a resident of Baker, and a native of Liberty, MS, she passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 79, and a retired school bus driver with the East Baton Rouge Parish School System with over 30 years of service. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 59pm, and on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Pastor Jay Coleman and Rev. Kevin Cheatham. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband of 56 years, Charles L. Law of Baker two daughters and sonsinlaw, Bonnie and Sam Cleveland of St. Francisville, and Sharon and Mike Rider of Walker a son and daughterinlaw, Charles F. and Kim Law of Pride two grandchildren, Conan and Casey Cleveland a stepgrandson, Christopher Bourgeois three great grandchildren, Kayla Cleveland, and Alexis and Patrick Rafeedie and a greatgreat granddaughter, Addison Bailey Chambliss. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Thomas Cleveland parents, Frank and Creasey Neyland Causey three brothers, Sewell, Dewitt, and Frank Causey and six sisters, Essie Mae Jones, Tinie Causey, Irma Lee Thomas, Geneva Ligon, Agnes Mitchell, and Hazel Guy. Pallbearers are Charles F. Law, Mike Rider, Mike Bordelon, and Conan, Casey, and Sam Cleveland. Betty enjoyed traveling and fishing, and loved having her family over for Sunday dinners.
