Betty Haley

Betty Brown Haley, 83 years old, beloved mother and grandmother and "Aunt Betty", went to be with Jesus and her beloved husband Bob, on August 3, 2018. She entered this world on March 27, 1935, born to Susie and Johnnie Brown, in New Orleans, LA. Betty was a faithful member of Bethany Church, North Campus. She was loved by everyone who met her, and she was affectionately known as "Aunt Betty".

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sheila Haley Saniford; 2 grandchildren, Corey Matthew Saniford and Amy Michele Saniford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Robert "Bob" Haley; brother, Kearney Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Paul Brill. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
