Bertha Jackson

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7. A resident of Zachary, and a native of Carthage, MS, she passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 9:25am at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 76, and a longtime resident of Baker. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 58pm, and on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 9:30am. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by three brothers and sistersinlaw, Kenneth Dale and Maxie Jewel Jackson of Russellville, AR, Jesse E. and Sally Jackson of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Jimmy and Dell Jackson of Zachary and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Cullen Jackson mother, Ella Irene Quick Jackson and two sisters, Bobbie Nell Rushing and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Baxter. Carolyn was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Baker, and was president of the Resident Council at Lane Nursing Home. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Lane Nursing Home, and to Dr. T. Folse and the nursing staff at Lane Regional Medical Center.
