Barry Forbes

Barry Stephen Forbes passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2022. He was 74, a native of Baker and resident of Zachary. Barry graduated from Baker High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 9:00am to 11:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am conducted by Reverend Jim Gross. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Barry is survived by his sister, Dolores F. Lasyone; brother-in-law, Selby Ray Krumholt; sister-in-law, Nancy Forbes; nieces: Debra LeBlanc (Jimmy), Sharon Kendrick (David), Melissa Krumholt, Tami Tucker (Matt); nephews: Roy Forbes (Bridget), Kenny Forbes (Becky), Jessie Forbes, Shawn Lasyone (Danielle), and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nell B. Forbes; father, Jessie F. Forbes; two sisters, Kathleen Krumholt and Maxine M. Forbes; brother, Colin Wayne Forbes.
