PRATTINI, Anthony H. Tony
A resident of Baker, he passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 1:40pm at Lane Regional Medical Center. He was 72 and a native of New Orleans. He was a US Navy veteran, having served in Cuba during the Berlin Wall Crisis. Tony was a 1957 graduate of Holy Cross School in New Orleans, and he attended LSU for two years, where he took business classes. He worked at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans for five years, then worked as a sales representative for Proctor Gamble for 18 years, retiring in 1991. He was named Salesman of the Year in 1975, and was very active in the Special Olympics with the Baton Rouge Assn. of Traveling Salesmen. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 58pm, and on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 11am until religious services in the chapel at 1pm. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Eloise Normand Prattini of Baker and one brother, Francis Prattini of McComb, MS. Preceded in death by a brother, Harold Prattini Jr a sister, Margaret Middlebrook and his parents, Lorraine Harold Prattini Sr. Tony enjoyed music and loved to dance.
