Anna Bell Hubbs Carmena
A loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and friends, and a native of Baton Rouge, Anna Bell Hubbs Carmena passed away on Tues. Dec. 22, 2009 at St. Clare Manor at the age of 94. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009 from 10am until religious services in the chapel at 1pm. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. She is survived by her son, Frank Carmena Sr. and his wife, Linda; three grandchildren, Frank Carmena Jr. and wife Lisa; Deidra Roberts, and Summer Theriot and husband Brad; four great grandchildren, Brittanie Myers and husband Mike, D'Shay Roberts, Joshua Cody Carmena, and Anna Claire Theriot; two great great grandchildren, Brody and Liam Myers; two sisters-in-law, Ella and Earline Hubbs; and a brother-in-law, Tommy Elmo Carmena and wife Jenny. Preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Carmena; three brothers, Berlin, Woodrow Dick, and Charlie Nonny Hubbs; grandson, John Nathan Carmena; and her parents, Harry and Lena Hubbs. Pallbearers will be Frank Carmena Jr, Cody Carmena, Brad Theriot, Tim Medlin, Roger Kirby, and Gary Sullivan Sr. Special thanks to all who have helped care for her over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Clare Manor Nursing Home Attn: Betty L. or Hospice of Baton Rouge.
