Amelia Danna

Amelia Lois Soulier Danna, 82, born in New Roads, LA on July 29, 1934 went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2017. She was a long-time resident of Baker, LA but recently moved to Zachary, LA. Amelia loved cooking for her family, was an animal lover, and her true passion was growing flowers.

Amelia is survived by her daughter, Tammy Ann Danna of Zachary; grandson, Chase Michael Danna of Zachary; granddaughter, Taylor Lynn Danna of Baton Rouge and their mother, Carla Faulkner-Verbois and her husband, Pete; sister-in-laws, Rose Marie Danna, Bonnie Soulier and Dot Soulier.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas "Nicky" Joseph Danna; son, Michael Joseph Danna; parents, Nicholas and Lelia LeJeune Soulier; and her brothers, Louis Soulier and Earl Soulier.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
