Allie Mae Bordelon Matusicky, 93 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 27, 2022. She entered this world on March 2, 1928, born to Flora Juneau Bordelon and Edwin Neville Bordelon, in Marksville, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She loved to spend time reading, doing sudoku and cross word puzzles. She worked for Bellsouth/AT&T for 33 years, retiring in 1993.
Allie is survived by her daughters, Teresa Margaret Aegerter and husband, Judd, and Lisa Marie Matusicky; sons, Mark Steven Matusicky and wife, Lynn, John Michael Matusicky, Matthew David Matusicky and wife, Bea, and Luke Edward Matusicky and daughter in law, Wendy Wyatt Matusicky; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Esla Bordelon Hawthorne, brothers, Ed Bordelon and Earl "Rocky" Bordelon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Allie is preceded in death by her husband, Augustine "Gus" Matusicky; father, Edwin Bordelon; mother, Flora Bordelon; daughter, Marilyn Ann Perry; grandson, Kris Matusicky; and brothers, Alton "Bab" Bordelon and Lee Bordelon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Gelpi, Andrew Matusicky, Nathan Matusicky, Jean-Luc Matusicky, Skyler Matusicky, and Wyatt Matusicky.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, on Tuesday, February 01, 2022, from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Michael Moroney. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Baker, Louisiana.
