Allen Allemond, Sr.

Allen Joseph Allemond Sr., 82 years old, native of Arnaudville and resident of Prairieville passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at The Crossing. He was born on April 11, 1938, born to Julia Olivier Allemond and Raoul Allemond, Sr.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Geraldine Adams Allemond; sons, Allen Allemond Jr. and Greg Allemond and wife, Tammy; daughters, Sheila Boudreaux and Linda Bonvillain and husband, Chopper; grandchildren, Dustin (Laura), Natalie (Jonathan), Dawn, Brianna (Matthew), Charlie, Kayla (Matthew), Taylor, Derrick, Joshua, Keegan, Collin, Ashley, and Grant; great-great grandchildren, Landen, Bentz, Logan, Brooklyn, Kendra, Kobe, Keely, Lexi, Lucas, and Pearl; brothers, Joseph, Tony, Russell, and Wayne; sisters, Thelma and Mildred; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Allen is preceded in death by his father, Raoul Allemond Sr., mother, Julia Olivier Allemond; son, Bryne Joseph Allemond; grandson; Bryne Joseph Allemond, Jr.; brothers, Henry, Bobby, Raoul, Jr, Harold, and Mervin; and sisters, Bertha, Agnes, Erma, and Cathy.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin and Landen Boudreaux, Taylor and Derrick Bonvilllain, Charlie and Joshua Allemond.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Keegan Allemond.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to The American Cancer Society.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Pete Kennedy. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
