Allan Hamilton, Sr.

Allan Eugene Hamilton, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 4, 2018, in his home at the age of 78. He entered this world on February 3, 1939, in Richland Center, WI. Al proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a hard worker and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gloria Hamilton; daughter, Tammy O'Grady and her husband Michael; son, Allan Hamilton, Jr. and his wife Ginger; daughter, Kandy Carter, and husband Dub; seven grandchildren, Allan Hamilton, III, Joshua Hamilton, Kristi O'Grady, Kathryn O'Grady, Sara Carter, Seth Carter, and Kallie Carter; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton, Connor Hamilton, Ariella O'Grady, and Porter Jackson; sister, Charlotte Olson and her husband Bart; brother, David Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Al is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Barbara Hamilton.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, La., on Saturday, January 6, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Jay Avance will officiate the service. The graveside service and burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
