Irene Andrews Booker

On September 6, 2023, Irene Andrews Booker, 95, was welcomed to eternal life by her husband, Thomas Alex Booker, Jr, daughter Alexis Campbell, and parents Irene and Robert Andrews.

Irene is survived by daughters Florence Baker (Milton) and Marilyn Crochet (Paul). Her grandchildren are Daron "Beaux" Baker (Shelly), Gaela Moncrief (Shane), Paula Miley (Bill), Randy Crochet (Toni), Stefanie Campbell, Samantha Campbell, & Michael Brownlee; greats Meighan, Justin, Alex, Wyatt, Cam, Chloe, Mikayla, Courtney, & Allie; great-greats Breleigh, Trenton & Lincoln.

Irene was a loving homemaker devoting her life to caring for her family and a wonderful example by living her faith. She taught Sunday School and was a VBS teacher for many years. She was a dedicated member of Baker First Baptist.

Irene's life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd, Baker, from 9 am until the funeral service at noon, officiated by Rev Jay Avance. Burial will follow at The Masonic Cemetery, Clinton, LA.
