Alex Harrison

A resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Watson, he passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at his home. He was 81, a retired electrician, and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, January 16, from 9:00am until religious services in the chapel at 11:00am, conducted by Rev. Chad Garrison. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by two daughters, Deborah Kuhns, and Suzanne Booty and husband, Greg son, Loren Harrison and wife, Rebecca two sisters, Jewel Edwards and Janice Harrison two brothers, Loris and Levy Harrison and two grandchildren, Michele Donaho and husband, Morgan, and Matt Booty and wife, Sarah. He was preceded in death by wife, Addie Marie Cain Harrison four sisters, and a brother. Pallbearers are Sid Garrison, Jr., Chad Garrison, Loren Harrison, Matt Booty, Greg Booty, and Morgan Donaho. Alex was an avid golfer and gardener, and he loved to share his fruits, vegetables, and flowers with family and friends. He could make and fix anything, and he had the greatest smile that we will never forget.
