Albert Humphreys, Jr.

A resident of Baton Rouge and a retired conductor with Union Pacific Railroad, he passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at 4:50am at The Carpenter House of St. Josephs Hospice. He was 84, a native of DeQuincy, and a US Marine Corp Veteran of WWII. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 59pm. Visiting at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, Monday, April 18, 2011 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, celebrated by Deacon Willie Berthelot. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Geri Ann and Bill King two sons and daughtersinlaw, Gene and Lois Humphreys, and Chris and Monica Humphreys and six grandchildren, Christopher, Alex, Jeremy and Rachel Humphreys, and Brianna and Blaire Bauer. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine G. Humphreys, and a son, Matthew Lewis Humphreys. Chunk was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
