Agnes Navarre Wunstel Hays

Agnes Navarre Wunstel Hays, 86, a native of Scott, LA, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Grace Nursing Home in Slaughter. She retired from the Baker, LA Post Office with 20 years of service, and was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Agnes is survived by two sons, Glenn R. Wunstel and Ronald P. Wunstel; a sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Aubrey Goodwin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by husbands, Edgar Wunstel and Eldred Hays; a son, Wayne Wunstel; a daughter, Barbara Wunstel Downey; a sister, Joyce Baudoin; and her parents, Augustin and Elna Navarre.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 9:00am until religious services in the chapel at 11:00am, conducted by Jerry Wunstel.

Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
