James Aaron

James W. Aaron , 92, went to meet his Savior on Saturday, February 12, 2011. A native of Liberty, Mississippi, he was born February 22, 1918. He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church where the services will be conducted. After serving his country in the United States Army in World War II, he moved to Louisiana. He retired as a heavy equipment operator with ICI. He was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish with his Grandsons. Visitation at Zoar Baptist Church Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 25pm, and on Monday February 14, from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Glen Miers. Interment to follow in Zoar Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carrie Mae Denham Aaron, one daughter, Joyce Perkins one son, James Murray Aaron and wife Stephanie one sister, Merle Catania two brothers, Jewel C. Aaron and Bob Aaron three grandsons, Murray Logan Aaron, Adam Lee Aaron and Tim Perkins and three greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy R. Aaron mother, Aline McManus Aaron five sisters and one brother. Pallbearers will be Murray Logan Aaron, Adam Lee Aaron, Charlie Newsom, Jesse Denham, Robert Jenkins and Monroe ONeil. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
