Christin Martin

When the sunshine of our Love, meets the Showers of our Sorrows, Gods rainbow of promise appears. A loving wife, mother, and daughter, and native and resident of Denham Springs, Christin passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was 42. Visiting at Woodville Baptist Church, 264 Natchez St., Woodville, MS 39669, on Thursday, January 23, from 10:00am until religious services at noon, conducted by Rev. Brian Hilbun. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Woodville. Christin is survived by her husband, John Timothy Martin beloved daughter, McKenzie Angela Martin mother, Peggy Leake Hilbun father, Flem David Hilbun brother, Curtis Lamar Hilbun and wife Sandy Brown Hilbun and nephews, Lane and Luke Hilbun. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Curtis Leake, formerly of Woodville and Monticello, MS. Christin had a fierce love for her daughter, and lived her life for her. McKenzie Angela was Christins heart beating on the outside. Christin loved people, and was known as a woman of strength, wit, laughter and vibrance. Never without her beautiful smile, Christin treasured every moment of life. She will be remembered for her giving spirit and generosity to others. She was truly one of a kind, and will live in our hearts forever. Our loss is Heavens gain.
